The sky is a calm, brick wall. None of the bricks are the same size, so whatever uniform denial a brick wall might normally espouse is not here. This undisciplined denial is almost inviting. With soft yellows and diluted greens and blues, the reflection of the bricks on the water is separated only by modest hills peppered with snow.
